For sale is our Relocatable/Transportable Home. Sale is due to construction of our new dwelling. This house was constructed in 2009 and was built by my husband who is a registered fully qualified builder. It has been built to comply with all Australian standards in construction as well as those for Transportable homes. All aspects of construction have been carried out by qualified tradesmen and are of a high standard with only good quality materials used throughout . The floor plan of the house has been designed to ensure the 12 squares of inside space are fully functional. Our family of five have lived comfortably in here for the last four years.
The exterior of the house is clad in Cool Wall foam which has been rendered and painted and it has a Colorbond roof. There is a timber deck area of around two squares at the front of the home which provides an undercover entertainment area suitable for an outdoor setting. The house is built upon steel trusses which act as a chassis. All specs on the house comply with the standards required of a Transportable home including the length of 17.5m and width of 7.5m (3.75m each section). The house has been designed to split in two for transportation and has double walls through the centre to make this possible. All aspects of electrical, plumbing etc have been laid out in accordance with this also.
Inside the house there is a large living area comprising of the kitchen, meals and family room. This area has a raked ceiling to help create space and can be opened up onto the deck area with the use of a large stacker door and servery window in kitchen. The kitchen has plenty of cupboard storage with a walk in pantry. The appliances consist of an LG s/s dishwasher, Baumatic s/s under bench oven and gas cooktop and s/s canopy rangehood. There is plenty of working space with ample bench tops and a large breakfast bar. The meals area is large enough to fit a table setting for eight. The lounge area is also generous enough to fit a full lounge suite, tv cabinet and coffee table etc. This area is heated and cooled through a Fujitsu Inverter system and also has two Monsoon stainless fans.
The bedrooms are all large enough to fit a couple of single beds or a queen and all have built in robes, Monsoon stainless fans and to service this area we installed a separate Fujitsu Inverter multi head unit which gives each room its own head unit to control the conditions of each room individually. The main bathroom has a shower and vanity and a separate toilet with powder room beside it. The main bedroom has its own ensuite again comprising of a shower, vanity and separate toilet. The laundry is large enough to be extremely functional with a large built in robe for use as a linen cupboard and a large work area with under bench cupboards, space for washing machine and enough room above this to place a dryer. The whole house runs of an instant gas hot water system which we find very useful with a family of five and very economical on gas. The entire house has been insulated with wall batts and a roof blanket for maximum comfort. The windows are awning type windows and are all furnished with good quality blinds. We have used energy saving down lights throughout the house and also under the deck area as well along with another two Monsoon exterior fans.
This house is well suited for a vacant block to be used as either a permanent residence or holiday home. It is large enough to be used for a decent sized family- there are five of us!- or a for a couple who want a little more space than a unit would offer. It is well built and been fitted out with modern looking good quality fittings. We have maintained it well over the last four years and it is still in excellent condition.
